Life with God is a journey.
My son, Parker, brought home his very first report card from school today. Other than the fact that he talks too much, he’s doing great! I am so amazed at how much he has learned since he began Kindergarten this year.
Parker’s report card or “progress report” reminds me that life is truly a journey – a journey with God. The sooner we realize it, the sooner we embrace it, well, that just makes the journey all the more meaningful.
Since I began serving God as a Pastor I have learned that the journey with God is full of twists and turns. There is no end in sight!
Mostly, I am simply thankful to be on my journey with God. Knowing that God is with me, that the Spirit guides me. . . I truly can’t imagine where I would be or who I would be without Him.
Where has your journey with God taken you? Where is it going? Maybe you should take some time and evaluate your journey with God and give yourself a spiritual progress report.
